Gene Therapy pic

For students who chose Gene Therapy for the PSA project, here is a good picture to help you understand the process and reason behind doing gene therapy in humans. Enjoy!

This is a big help! Thanks. I have a question about the Bioethics Decision Making Model. The box that says Stakeholders, what am i supposed to put in the box? Risks that people take with Gene therapy?

Thanks again for the picture!

You're welcome for the pic. Glad it's helpful.

Good question about the Decision Making Model. Stakeholders are any PEOPLE (or even animals/plants) who are impacted by the issue you chose (Gene Therapy, etc.)... For example, it might be a person coping with cancer who could potentially be treated/cured by gene therapy. Try to think of at least 3 stakeholders who are/would be affected by or involved in gene therapy.

Hope this makes more sense now!
